Popular idols Ryo Nishikido (24) and Tomohisa Yamashita (24) have reportedly been infected with influenza A, according to a fax sent out by their management on Tuesday. It is said that there is a possibility that they have the H1N1 strain.

Nishikido was diagnosed with the flu on Monday, and Yamashita was diagnosed the following day. Their doctor has instructed them to take a break from work and remain confined to their homes until they recover.

Nishikido currently appears in the TBS drama series "Orthros no Inu." The seventh episode is scheduled to air on Friday, September 4, but some of Nishikido's scenes have still not yet been filmed. As a result, there may be changes to this week's broadcast, and future episodes will depend on his recovery.

UPDATE: Fuji TV has also stated that some of Yamashita's scenes are not yet done for the next episode of "Buzzer Beat."

vActress Yonekura Ryoko (34) and actor Narimiya Hiroki (26) attended the announcement event for Morinaga Milk’s new "Mt. Rainier" commercials. It’s the first time that they chose Japanese talents for the commercials in the 17 years this coffee drink has been on the market and both of them expressed that they feel really honored.

Yonekura is going to play a "fascinating boss" while Narimiya will play one of those "modern young employees". In the commercial they are both going to experience their very special coffee moments between work. The new coffee will go on sale on the 8th, the same day the commercial is going to start airing on TV.

Police have arrested a 25-year-old unemployed man from Fukuoka, suspected of mailing threats against voice actress Mai Kadowaki (28).

Authorities said that the suspect, named Satoshi Yamazaki, had sent at least one threatening letter to Kadowaki's agency last November. The message included lines such as "I will kill your parents within one month."

Yamazaki admitted guilt, saying that he was a fan of Kadowaki. He had read and believed accusations on the internet that Kadowaki was having an affair. As a fan, he felt that was unforgivable, so he threatened the actress. Police were able to match fingerprints taken from the threatening letter with those from a fan letter he had previously sent under his real name.

Kadowaki has done voices for many games and anime series, including "Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians" and "Fate/stay night."

Yamapi, recovered from influenza! Back to filming of drama

NEWS' Yamashita Tomohisa (24), who had been resting at home due to influenza, went back to the filming of Fuji TV "Buzzer Beat~Gakeppuchi no Hero~" (Mon 9pm) in the afternoon of the 5th.

In the morning, doctor had certified that it had been after 48 hours that his fever had subsided. At the filming location, in front of the staff crew, he smiled and said, "Sorry to make all of you worry, I'm fully-recovered. The drama is coming to an end, please continue to support us."

From Fuji TV, as filming has been resumed, the 9th Episode that's going to be shown on the 7th would be as usual, no changes to the storyline.

Some info :

Unlike the manga and anime series, the movie will focus on Minami "Ray" Ryusuke instead of the series lead protragonist, Tanaka "Koyuki" Yukio. Minami is to be played by Mizushima Hiro while the role of Koyuki is to be played by Takeru Sato. Mizushima is probably best known for his role as Namba Minami in the 2007 live action drama, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e. He also recently portrayed Shibata Rihito in another drama, Mei-chan no Shitsuji (as seen in the magazine cover photo on the right).
30 original songs are going to be written for the movie. The actors are going to perform the songs themselves with real instruments. To ensure the realistic portrayal, Mizushima and the rest of the cast is to undergo rigorous training for a month.
The movie will start filming in July with a movie release date around fall 2010.

ο ρόλος φυσικά του ταιριάζει γάντι και ας μας θυμίζει λίγο τον ρόλο του στο Rookies
και στο Ryousei no kizuma ... επίτηδες το κάνουν επειδή όταν παίζει σοβαρούς ρόλους γίνεται πολύ σέξη και οι γυναίκες λιποθυμάνε γύρω του...

για τον ρόλο του Taira να πω την αλήθεια θα προτιμούσα τον Hiroki Narimiya αλλά έχοντας παίξει στο Nana Θα ήταν σαν να βλέπουμε το ίδιο πράγμα... (όχι οτι με χαλάει δηλαδή)

Πραγματικά είναι πολύ σέξυ.Σε ένα επεισόδιο στο One Pound Gospel τον είδα(που έπαιζε τον host) και ξετρελάθηκα μαζί του.Μετά δεν έτυχε να τον ξαναδώ κάπου αλλού.

Πετυχα τον Makino των FiVe σε παναρχαιο johnny's calendar μαζι με chibi arashi και επαθα shock που συνειδητοποιησα ποσα χρονια βρισκεται εκει...
