i'm mostly referring to the "consequences" of their participation in Wacken..
during the show the usually "will-cheer-for-anyone" Wacken audience was just standing there, rooted to the spot and afterwards there was an uproar of very nasty -often insulting- comments about japan's music scene.. especially Kyo's habit of cutting himself onstage was greeted with a lot of jeering (and c'mon guys this scene has seen far worse and eccentric stuff than that and nobody reacted like that ffs)
and if i'm not dreadfully wrong it was somewhere there that diru started saying the renowned "there's no rock/metal scene in japan, we're the only ones there" or something along those lines
it's just that i'm afraid of how will they be received mostly.. there are already people calling them an emo band -judging only from the owari to mirai pv which is used for giru's presentation-.. other than that i'm very happy that they get to play in (one of) the biggest and more famous metalfests.. it's just that i'm afraid of moves like that in general because it's kinda rare so far for jbands to be accepted outside of the scene.. remember what happened when MUCC was the support act to Guns'n'Roses last year?? and THAT was in Japan itself! :\


of course jrock's popularity in Europe is increasing! =w= facts say so!
it's very nice seeing bands you love getting even more love and achieving higher each time!
in Europe of course.. out of the question for anything happening here... *sigh*
