Gio take it easy please. I think that for the most part Seraphimon was being sarcastic.
Anw. Could you please tell me where did you get the info on Kakashi's father from? I ve checked the manga and I could'nt find some parts. Do these exist on a databook?
-Some parts are mentioned on the databooks, other are mentioned on the manga, and a small part of them are mentioned on some interviews.
It was also said that Sakumo had a rank superior to that of the 3 Sanins, a rank second to the Hokage and no-one else, and we are talking about the time when Sarutobi, and the 3 Sanins were on their prime. The name of this rank was never mentioned though, but this is the rank he lost when he saved his friends instead of completing his mission.
As for the MS part I would say that this is one of the parts that could be labelled as a plot hole. The fact that we do not know exactly how Kakashi managed to unlock the Mangekyou. I do believe that Sasuke also had the potential but he chose not to follow that path when he had the chance.
Sasuke had a chance to awake MS by killing Naruto on VoTe Fight, he chose not to do so, but regardless of his choice he would never be able to awake it without killing anyone. He got his MS 'cause he killed Itachi, and 'cause Itachi gave him a glance of some Ms abilities.
Well i dont pay attention to the manga as much as i used to do in the past, but if i'm not mistaken is something like:Well how many times have we seen Kakashi using Mangekyou techniques and how many times Sasuke has done the same thing ? That would explain a lot. Furthermore Kakashi still has a perfectly healthy eye and can maintain his vision while sasuke's eyes both suffer damage.
Kakashi
- 3 times on a row against Deidara
- 2 times on a row against Pein
- 1 time to make Amaterasu Forest dissapear
- 1 time against Sasuke
- 7 times total.
Sasuke
- Amaterasu's Awekening (1 time against Madara)
- 1 Amaterasu against Bee
- 1 time his own MS against Bee
- 1 time amaterasu against Raikage
- 1 time susanoo against Raikage
- 1 time amaterasu against Danzo
- 1 time Susanoo against Danzo
- 1 time Susanoo against Kakashi
- 7 times total.
Kakashi's being harmed 4 times more per use, for his eye is as if Sasuke had used 28 MS.
No matter how many techniques you know, if you don't see something you can't react to it (in time or at all). If for some reason (such as the fact that naruto was out of sight) he did not perceive Naruto fast enough, there is no point in trying anything.
I'm too lazy to do search through scans, dont make me find how many times did kakashi evade something he didn't see coming, something many times more serious and un-predictable than Naruto's only technique; Kagebunshin no Jutsu. If it is a matter of speed and Stealth, we are talking about the guy who pierced through the heart of Kakuzu (a Kage-Level Akatsuki Member), without being noticed with a technique as easy to notice like Raikiri. Naruto has never been the stealth-type nor he is now. Which is why all this doesn't make sense.
I think Naruto surpassed Kakashi in terms of quality of techniques rather than quantity. He did manage to progress a technique that even Minato could not complete and the sage mode.... Oh screw it I can't see how he surpassed Kakashi either:hihi2:! I still think that even though Kakashi has certain disadvantages on terms of chakra and physical difficulties on terms of experience and intelligence he is way more effective.
Well, the thing is, if you read the
Well Naruto is a series far from perfect but to be honest i don't think it is depriving chances from anyone. The people who read Naruto for what it really is (an average shonen series) and purely for entairtenment will always support new and worthy mangakas. On the other hand those who due to lack of experience or pure fanboyism think of it as the top manga of the universe or something will only replace it with a similar (in terms of quality) as soon as it is over.
Sure Naruto is far from perfect, but Naruto Part I did promise a lot back on the time. The quality of part I was really high, and the manga was actually promising a lot back then, we who started reading the series from the begining were expectining this manga to grow into one of the best series in Shonen Jump's history, not into the almost-as-bad-as-bleach-level manga we have today. Sadly, Kishimoto screwed this up...
Now, the main problem is, if you are familiar with Jump serialization/cancelation progress, is that as long as both bleach and naruto are still being serialized new actors won't really start a new mainstream manga, since that would get them canceled quite fast, since they'd be competing in popularity against Bleach and Naruto, and we all know how popular both of them are despite of how low their current quality actually is. Jump is too strict with their popularity control system, this situation is saturating the serialization of new mainstream manga, which is why we dont see many new mainstream manga lately xD.
