Lets see...

i have been in the world of MMORPG 8 years now, and i'e played more than just Ragnarok online. I started with the very first classics, and adapted myself to the new games as time went by. WoW is in my list of "already tried MMORPGS", and is one of the worst at that.

WoW doesn't provide enough character build customization to attract me, WoW doesn't require enough Smart Playing and Quick Reflexes to excite me, nor is it hard enough to make me sweat in a Boss Fight.

WoW PvE is quite okay, and the game's map are extremely well done, i'll give you that. However, WoW's PvP, BattleGround is badly designed, and as i mentioned before doesn't provide what it takes to make someone who has really searched deeply in the world of MMORPGs enjoy the game, plus it lacks many high-end features rending the game obsolete after you reach max level.

Its skill/spell learning system is retarded, and the only somehow developed part of the is the talent tree, which for your information is just a copy of many other skill-tree systems that already exist, Ragnarok does have this feature, only that for Ragnarok Skill-tree feature is many times better developed than that of WoW's.

WoW's attribute efficiency table is almost non-existant, which is a more than a dissapointment taking into consideration the fact that even pokemon has a deeply developed attribute system, is just stupid how magic works on WoW.

Well, i really don't have the time to keep on listing the bad things about WoW, nor do i really care to explain in-depth stuff to someone who judges a game 'cause of its graphic (even though, i consider Ragnarok's Sprites more suited for a MMORPG than WoW's ugly and barbaric like 3d characters, i mean, most rogues look like Barbarian, duh).

Make a better research before calling a game better than other, next time, pls.

Nope , i stand to that. Actually i dont care much beacuse its just a game. I enjoy it with my friends and thats all about. I played all the Warcraft history and ,well, thats the game. I dont critisize Ragnarock bad. I played ,but thats not my type. Its to LoL.Thats my opinion and just continue to enjoy Ragnarock if you like it ^^.

Προσωπικά δεν βρίσκω τον λόγο να μαλώνετε γιατί το θέμα δεν είναι ποιο είναι καλύτερο αλλά το τι προτιμά να παίζει ο καθένας. Εξάλλου λογικό στα ΜΜΟ είναι αν δεν έχεις φίλους να παίξετε μαζί το παιχνίδι καταντάει βαρετό μετά από λίγο καιρό

Μα δεν μαλωνουμε, απλα λεμε τις αποψεις μας. Λογικα ,αμα δεν αρχιζανε οι φιλοι μου δεν θα αρχιζα ουτε εγω. Οχι μονο για το αθτο το παιχνιδι ,αλλα γενικα .

I wasn't really trying to start a fight or anything, i just gave him what i think is a very good piece of advice, which maybe wasn't well expressed in my post.

"Don't state something is better than something else, without a good back up". If you don't give any information that back ups what you are saying, and just blindly say "x anime/game/manga is better than y anime/game/manga", then people might not get really well what you are stating. It would be a totally different matter if he had said "In my opinion x is better than y", or if he had given out some reasons for his statement. But, i have nothing against him, nor i'll start a fight 'cause of a game.

Ohter people though, specially in this forum will get extremely exalted the momment you say one manga/anime series is better than their favorite, in which case he'd need something to back up his opinion, which is what my advice was all about to begin with.

There is no real problem with your english, dont worry. Sure, everyone has a different opinion.

As for Warcraft story, i also played Warcraft, and enjoyed it (even if the game could still use some tweaks), but WoW is actually destrying this same story, by contradicting it every now and then.

I also played trough Ragnarok Online's story, the game is updated every week, and most of the time its not only about items or game systems, but actually story-facts happen in the world game a if we were talking about a weekly manga (of course the plot isn't as deep as a console Rpg or an actual Manga). For example, not long ago, one of the major cities was destroyed by the awakening of Satan Morroc, an only once-per server event took place, and each server had a different outcome, (Koreans defeated satan after he destroyed 3 towns, while Japanese killed him before he even got to the second one, and the like), a dimensional Gorge was formed right in the middle of Morroc city, opening a warp to a new dimension filled with new dungeons, demons, and instantly powering up any demon/undead/shadow/dark Boss in the Game. That is just an example, many other scenario changes happen in many of the patches, and many of them are actually affected by the players, so you as a player get a chance to affect the whole plot of the game, something that isn't provided by another MMORPG currently.

I dont play ragnarok anymore, mainly 'cause i dont have time to play any MMORPG right now, but also 'cause the new large patch (which is still in beta-testing), is simplyfing the game so much, that smart-play imprtance is being reduced to an almost non-existant level, character customization is going as low a WoW's limits, Boss fights are becoming ridicously easy, and even Instances are losing their magic. They decided to make a general overhaul and call the game Ragnarok Renewal, in order to attract new people with a many times more simple game (I agree on the, Ragnarok being way too hard for rookies, the game is a living anti-rookie but they are overdoing it). Overall they are making Ragnarok almost as bad (for my taste) as WoW which doesnt give me a reason to play anymore.

My next answer here, won't be about this WoW vs Ragnarok subject that suddenly took place, but i'll actually talk a bit about the game itself, which is the reason i created the thread 2 years ago to begin with.
